Some of you know this already, but my little brother is in Spain. He is there with an organization called YWAM or Youth With A Mission. He is doing a DTS (discipleship training school) which is a 6 month school that encourages their students to develop their personal character and strengthen their daily relationship with God. They learn about the Bible in depth and have speakers from all over the world come talk to them.
My brother is spending 12 weeks in Spain training and then will spend about 12 weeks on an outreach.
The goal of YWAM is to create a cross-cultural exposure and global awareness in the students and to prepare their students to reach current and future generations and answer the call to “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19.
I just wanted to post today about how much joy I get when he sends me a message on facebook or through email. It’s weird how much I have missed him these past couple of months. I don’t mean to sound cheesy but it’s true. It’s strange with him not being here when the family gets together and especially during the past Easter holidays. I just have to hold off for less than 3 months!!!
