Celebrate April 24, 2008
To celebrate the fact that exams are finished I went out to a movie tonight with a group of people. There were 6 of us in total and we went to see Horton Hears A Who.
I must admit that I did want to see the movie, even if it looks a little bit cheesy.
Guess what? I loved it!!!
It is such a great movie. Now, I wouldn’t see it in the expensive theaters, but the cheap ones would be okay and it would be a good rental movie. It was so much better then I expected it to be. It’s about Horton, who is an elephant who hears a “who” on a speck of dust and ventures out to save their city from total destruction.
My favourite character has to be Katie. She was introduced to me months ago, but I didn’t feel it was right to talk about her until I saw the movie. Now that I have, I wish to share this clip with you. She is probably the most random character in the entire movie and this is the most she ever says.
Cool, I kinda want to see it too, maybe I’ll rent it though… We had a bunch of local actors do a improv comedy thing here they called it “Horton Thaws A Poo” SOoooo funny!
I have to admit that I wasn’t as impressed with this one as I have been with other kids’ movies, but I really DID love that Katie character. For me, she was the best part and I loved the noises she made. LOL.
