If your asking why I’ve started this blog and where the topic came from, you came to the right place to find it out.
This blog was started as a class project for one of my sociology classes. I was graded on my posts, the frequency of how many times I posted, and how many people read what I have to say. The assignment went on for four months in order to gain an understanding of the internet world and put my opinions out there for you to read. I ended up getting in the top 5 blogs of my class and received bonus marks because of it.

As you can tell from my blog’s title, it’s about joy. Years ago when I was part of a girls bible study and we discussed finding joy everyday. We all go through days when it is next to impossible to find joy in anything, but if you focus on at least one thing that puts a smile on your face, then it wasn’t a completely wasted day. I was encouraged to keep a joy journal and write in it anything and everything that brought me joy in any given day. I have continued to keep mine and I thought why not write some of my daily thoughts on this blog.

Michelle, so far so good! I did some blogging when my Mom was sick a year ago and found it really therapeutic. It let me vent, but I still had to formulate my thoughts and be careful writing them down because I knew others would read them.
